More and more people are interested in less formal relaxed reportage photography for their wedding photography, These are candid and un-posed wedding photographs capturing each special moment.

Fotodiscs4u only take "specially requested" group wedding photographs', as these can be "too staged" and too many of these can often be very time consuming and boring for the people involved, its far better to try and capture the natural image. Some couples definitely want some group photos, despite the trend for completely reportage wedding photography, I think a couple of traditional group photos is still a great way to remember the joining of families. I’d suggest making a small list of group wedding photos, so that they won't take up too much of your day. I'll try to keep these relaxed and informal, so when you watch your wedding Dvd slideshow, you will see your family and friends enjoying themselves, instead of the usual "standing to attention". I’ll ask you for a list of essential groupings, listed by name, and it's good for you to nominate an usher, the best man, a bridesmaid or someone who knows most of the guests to help coordinate. For minimum disruption to your day make sure to plan enough time in your wedding day schedule for these group photographs as they always tend to take longer than expected. Customers should enjoy their day and not feel that the wedding photographer "took over". You want us to provide a story book of the day's events, to show in your wedding photos, wedding album, or your wedding photo slideshow. Posed pictures will be kept to a minimum, or not taken at all, depending on your preference.

It has been shown by intensive market research that, these days, many couples don't want to buy an overly expensive wedding album, which they see as "old fashioned". Although with our packages, you may buy Photo prints, which you can put into frames or create your own album, or large Canvas wraps to proudly display on your walls. Your wedding pictures can also be presented in a wedding DVD photo slideshow album which will feature the music of your choice. You will receive a free online gallery, from which you can choose all, or just your favourite shots to be printed, (See Wedding and Events Galleries for our print prices), or to be included in your Wedding slideshow presentation.

Some customers, have their official wedding photographer, taking traditional wedding photography pictures, while Fotodiscs4u remains in the background capturing the reportage wedding, almost like the "unofficial" reportage wedding photographer, becoming just another wedding guest.

Before any wedding, celebration or event booking, it is always best to for us to meet, for you to view a sample of my work, and discuss your requirements and it gives us the chance to decide how to photograph your event. I will always attend and photograph your wedding myself, (unlike some Wedding and portrait photography companies) which helps to ensure the consistency of your wedding photos.
